When there is cherry liqueur in a drink, we almost feel obliged to garnish with maraschino cherries. This time we wrapped it with lemon zest, for that extra flair.
The cocktail itself is a fun one. Genever, combined with Cherry Heering, lemon juice and sugar make rust red drink with many layers of flavour, the star of course being the Danish cherry liqueur.

1,66 oz genever
0,66 oz Cherry Heering
0,66 oz lime juice
0,33 oz simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
