When we posted a story with a bottle of ginger rum, George over at @geosklias was fast to suggest a cocktail to use it in; a Mary Pickford. And that’s what we did, pairing the spicy ginger rum with sweet pineapple juice and maraschino liqueur. It is fun to use new products in classic recipes. It’s a way of discovering them again, in a new light. The ginger rum elevated this Mary Pickford to a super interesting level, adding to it a bit of a sting.

1,5 oz rum 1,5 oz pineapple juice 1 tsp grenadine 6 drops maraschino liqueur
Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with brandied cherries.
