Patience – yes that’s the name of this divine cocktail from the Beaufort bar in London. With its stunning yellow color, cucumber taste and Chartreuse content this is likely to be a crowdpleaser cocktail. To add a sourish taste not only lemon juice is used, but also lime marmelade which is quite fun to use as a cocktail ingredient. When you open the shaker after thirty seconds of shaking, the fruity aroma of the marmelade is what first strikes you. A lovely acquaintance!

2 oz Hendrick’s gin
0,5 oz yellow Chartreuse
1 oz fresh lemon juice
0,5 oz simple syrup infused with green tea and cucumber
1 bar spoon lime marmelade
Shake with ice, strain and pour.
