The “Poop-Poop-A-Doop” cocktail gave us tiki vibes, despite the Swedish punsch in it. Because there is also rum and apricot in this cocktail. We used a clear rum, so it’s basically only the punsch adding color to our cocktail, but a darker rum would probably generate a deeper more golden colored drink. The taste was nice, surprisingly little of the gin was shining through and it was rather the rum and the punsch that defined the cocktail. It’s unusual for as to add a straw in any cocktail, but it just felt appropriate this time!
1 oz rum
1 oz gin
1 oz Swedish punsch
1 dash of apricot brandy
Shake with ice, strain and pour.
