Saké Piña Colada

by | Sep 10, 2020

This one turned out so delicious. It is somehow a bit lighter compared to the original, and using saké instead of rum moves this cocktail in a much elegant Asian direction.

For us it got extra authentic as we were able yo use a bottle of saké that we bought ourselves when we were in Japan last summer. The label is only in Japanese so we don’t really know what brand it is, or even what type of saké it is. However, we got to try it in the store before buying the bottle so we knew we would love it.

3 oz saké
2 oz coconut milk
2 oz pineapple juice
0,5 oz fresh lime juice
0,5 oz simple syrup

Combine all of the ingredients with ice in a shaker and shake vigorously. Serve over crushed ice and garnish.

We think the combination of tropical orgeat, tequila and Aperol is so good in this drink.

Could this be one of the last drinks we’re able to sip outside this summer?
