The brief.

For the cocktail book "Mixed by Bella" by Bella Porcile, we spent a day shooting a wide range of cocktails across different moods and visual directions to match the breadth of the book.

How we approached it.

One-Day Shoot

A single, intensive shoot day covering a large number of cocktails, each styled and lit to fit its own mood within the book.

Range of Moods

From bright and playful to dark and moody — each cocktail got its own visual direction rather than a single repeated look across the book.

Book Selection

Around 15 of the images from the shoot were selected for the finished book.

Award-Winning Result

"Mixed by Bella" was named Cocktail Book of the Year 2022 by Måltidsakademin (The Swedish Gastronomy Academy), and the book was reissued in a new 2025 edition.
