We happened to have a bird coupe available, which felt very fitting to serve this drink in. The Emerald Toucan is a delicious one made with an irresistible combination of liqueurs, tequila and sour lime juice.
We love the name of the drink, it sounds so . . . exotic! It’s maybe not officially a tiki drink, but it’s very close. We felt we needed to arrange a grass and flower backdrop to give this creation a natural habitat.
The drink tastes fantastic. Using Galliano to mix with is unusual but rewarding. Its sweet vanilla notes works so well mixed with the lime juice and the tequila.

0,75 oz tequila
0,75 oz Galliano
0,75 oz St Germain
0,75 oz lime juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
Shake with fresh ice and fine strain into a coupe.
