Ah, we completely missed National Margarita Day back in February. We will try to compensate for that today with this delicious frozen Margarita.

There is a risk of brain freeze if you slurp this cocktail too fast, which is tempting to do as it's so good. But at least we warned you!

This drink almost becomes a bit like sorbet, so a spoon is needed unless you have really thick straws available. It obviously tastes like a regular Margarita, but the freeze adds another dimension, an almost tingling sensation while drinking/eating this cocktail.

National Margarita day 2019 is coming up, 22 February. We are so prepared!

Frozen Margarita

Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
0,75 oz orange liqueur

Mixing:

Pour everything in a blender and add one cup of ice. Blend until the texture is smooth and pour into a rocks glass.
