This desert-inspired drink combines tequila and Suze in an interesting way. There is not a lot of the Suze in the mix, and still it defines the drink quite a bit.
Suze is bitter, very bitter - but nice bitter. It is also very yellow which shows also on the prepared cocktail.
We think this drink is really nice, at the same being quite unique in the way it's mixed.
Road Flare
Recipe from Last Night, New York City
Ingredients:
1,5 oz tequila reposado
1 oz grapefruit juice
0,5 oz fresh lime juice
0,5 oz simple syrup
0,25 oz Suze
Mixing:
Shake all ingredients vigorously and fine strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a dehydrated citrus wheel.
