Almost Famous

Almost Famous

Another nice recipe for a modern tiki drink. Almost Famous is a perfect riff of a Paper Plane, and we love the fantastic colour it gets thanks to the Aperol. We used Rum Fire in this one, it's such a characteristic and tasty rum that works fantastic in this type of drinks. Almost Famous Recipe by Laura Bishop Ingredients: 1 oz overproof Jamaican rum 1 oz yellow Chartreuse 1 oz Aperol 1 oz fresh lime juice Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and fine strain into a coupe. MacNamara Rose

MacNamara Rose

This bright red cocktail is very tasty with its whiskey, Lillet rosé and Aperol mix and those very noticeable flavors from the cucumber. We're always amazed at how versatile Aperol is, it can be used in so many different kind of drinks, and it always tastes fantastic. Of course it is also nice that it contributes with such a gorgeous colour. We were very generous on the cucumber garnish, and those ribbons actually doubled as a healthy drink snack as well! MacNamara Rose Recipe by Joaqu

The Confident Man

The Confident Man

We had some elderflower liqueur left and wanted to use it in a new drink. We found The Confident Man and thought it sounded like a drink we would enjoy. And we did! This is a bittersweet cocktail that mixes grapefruit and Aperol but balances it with the sweet elderflower. The vodka is what creates the booziness in the drink. We don’t use vodka very often, but thought it worked well in this recipe combined with quite a few other ingredients with characteristic flavors. The Confident Man Recipe

The Post Sunset

The Post Sunset

We thought it was fun with Limoncello in a cocktail. We happen to have a bottle in our cabinets, that we’ve so far only enjoyed neat, but now it was time to put it to test in a cocktail. We also thought a recipe based on two lime wedges sounded…fun…and challenging. How much juice does one wedge hold? It turned out our wedges were quite juicy, so we ended up with just the right amount of lime juice to balance the super sweet Limoncello. This is probably the key, we can see how this recipe could

Devil's Barrel

Devil's Barrel

This cocktail gets its gorgeous color from Aperol, which also gives the drink a bittersweet flavour which we are so into. We also think pairing Calvados and honey syrup is a clever move, these two flavors go so well together. This cocktail is very much in season now during autumn. The whisky base means it’s a boozy and dark drink, that you’d want to sip on slowly. Maybe in front of the fire place, together with a good book (or rather a tablet these days). We are certainly ready to welcome both

Eclipse

Eclipse

This is a super refreshing agave drink, bursting with both berryness and sourness. Thanks to the Aperol and cherry Heering the drink turns out deliciously ruby red. A rocks glass is the suggested glassware, but we think this drink would also look beautiful in a coupe glass. We used a vintage rocks glass though which was a bit on the small side. So out of picture there is a second almost full glass of this wonderful cocktail. Eclipse Recipe by Leo Robitschek Ingredients: 0,75 oz reposado tequil

Lido Shuffle

Lido Shuffle

Bubbly, pale pink, low ABV - what more could you ask for a hot summer day in Sweden? We find ourselves doing more and more highballs the hotter the temperature gets, and it's probably not so strange in the end. Of course nothing beats pure water as a quencher, but this Lido Shuffle cocktail comes pretty close! Lido Shuffle Recipe by Evan Harrison Ingredients: 1 oz Cocchi Americano 0,5 oz Aperol 0,5 oz yellow Chartreuse 0,5 oz lemon juice Mixing: Shake with fresh ice, and strain into an ice

Love Makes You Feel Ten Feet Tall

Love Makes You Feel Ten Feet Tall

Love Makes You Feel Ten Feet Tall… …Jay Zimmerman certainly named this gin and pisco cocktail in the most lovingly way. And it is a drink that's easy to fall in love with. Four delicious ingredients and a tingling addition of salt. Have a look at this elegant recipe: We really like these kind of recipes with quite clean flavors. You do taste all four spirits, at the same time appreciating the combined drinking experience they deliver. We also love how pretty the cocktail looks, especially in t
