The Amen Corner

The Amen Corner, by Nick Brown is a riff of The Paper Plane. And it's delicious! Those muddled mint leaves add a lot of character despite not being visible in the finalized drink.

And, as lovers of Maraschino cherries this is definitely a drink for us. Not one, not two but THREE cherries is the suggested garnish. Well we couldn't be happier, these cherries are truly some black pearls!

We recently bought a set of vintage cocktail picks, mimicking different fruit and vegetables. None of them depicted a cherry, so we had to go with a banana pick and a pumpkin pick in this shoot, sorry about that =)

The Amen Corner

Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz bourbon
1 oz Aperol
0,75 oz amaro Nonino
5 mint leaves

Mixing:

Muddle the mint leaves at the bottom of a shaker, and add all other ingredients. Shake with fresh ice and double strain into a coupe. Garnish with three preserved cherries on a cocktail pick.
