Wow are we excited to try this brand new Swedish gin! On the island of Gotland Hellström Gin is made, using local botanicals and it sure tells in the result.
The gin is clean and crisp, but still has character from those botanicals. We love this style of gin as it goes so well in cocktails. Here we are trying it in a classic Pendennis, which we chose as it is a recipe that really lets the gin in it shine. Also that apricot brandy and the bitters give the cocktail such a pretty pale pink colour we think.
2 oz gin
1 oz apricot brandy
0,5 oz lime juice
1 dash Peychaud’s bitters
Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe.
